Tiptoeing on plagiarism... Would have received five stars if it didn’t seem like about half of the content was nearly plagiarized from Ronald Greer’s “Now That They Are Grown.” The information is great but it really bothered me to feel like I was reading another man’s version of virtually the same content (including a specific movie reference) for a good part of the book. If I hadn’t read Greer’s book first, I would have loved every bit of it without thinking twice. Helpful content, but it would have been much more ethical for Burns to give credit to Greer beyond the one direct quote he used in his book. While I was disappointed with the ethics, it was still an easy read with helpful information for those parenting adult children. Burns’ book was however more up-to-date and delved deeper into some important topics than Greer’s book from 2012.If you have adult children, read this This is the BEST book. I really wish I would have read this 4 years ago. It would have been super helpful. This is a well written book that is full of wisdom. I read half the book in one sitting. I just couldn't put it down. Thank you for Mr. Burns for writing this!!!Never too late to improve your relationship! A very valuable resource for parents no matter how old your adult child! I’m sorry I did not have the opportunity to read it after my oldest son graduated from High School. It would have helped our relationship in so many ways!
